> Software Engineer_
A 100 and 200 metres sprinter who approaches software with the same demands the track makes: consistency, discipline and the resolve to keep improving.
About
Since 2020 I have raced in Spain's First Division and División de Honor, the top tier of national team athletics.
Competing at that level teaches you something that stays with you: results do not come from talent, nor overnight, but from repeating things well, year after year.
That way of training — measure, repeat, correct, begin again — is exactly how I approach code. I currently work full-time as a PL/SQL developer, alongside my Computer Engineering degree and competing at the highest level.
Hence the name: Developlete comes from joining developer and athlete. They are not two competing paths, but one and the same.

Method
What top-level sport has given me, and what I bring to the keyboard.
Balancing top-level competition with a full-time job and an engineering degree does not run on bursts of motivation, but on method and timetables. That is what I bring to work every day.
I have moved from hardware maintenance to web development and on to databases, with four different qualifications along the way. Switching context and getting up to speed quickly is part of my track record.
In sprinting, taking a hundredth off your time takes entire seasons. That way of measuring progress — small, steady and verifiable — is how I approach code as well.
I race in relays and work in a squad of five. A good atmosphere is not a perk: it is what makes people ask questions in time and problems surface early.
Portfolio
I would rather show a few projects explained properly than a long, superficial list.
A personal project in development: a scheduling application.
In active development. I will share more as the project matures.
My project catalogue is a work in progress; the next ones will be added here.
A service
I build websites with their own appointment system for businesses that work by appointment: the client picks a day and time and books on their own, no calls, no waiting. One engine, tailored to each field.

Grupo gtt · Gestión Tributaria Territorial
My main focus is data extraction and reporting: SQL queries on Oracle to pull and cross-reference data from tax management systems, which means knowing the data model inside out. I also develop in PL/SQL (stored procedures, packages, views and triggers). I work with TOAD, track tickets in Jira and document in Confluence, within a team of around 20 split into squads of five. Full-time, hybrid.
